Corks
The corks decompose very badly but can be extremely useful when they are recycled. Indeed, it takes about 25 years to carry out the first harvest on a cork oak and 10 years to have the bark renewed.
As the request for this matter is in full growth (it is an excellent heat and acoustic insulation), the producers tend to decrease this waiting period of 10 years between harvests, which harms the trees (appearance of mushrooms, etc. ). However, the corks can be recycled. Indeed, once crushed and heated, they release a resin which makes it possible to naturally weld them in plates. These plates will be used as insulation in the sector of construction (brick roofs or walls).
For these reasons, we invite you to gather all your corks and bring them to one of the manifold centres (by ex: our local dump located at the 146 Val des Seigneurs).

Metal
Food packing made of metal (cans, dishes made of aluminium ...) can be thrown away in the blue bags. Other metal waste (washing machines, tables, chairs ...) can be thrown in our local dump.
